Letter from a US comrade
I read your recent leaflet on Trotskyism and enjoyed it! I’m not surprised at all that it caused quite a stir, seeing as how it lays bare the counter-revolutionary essence of Trotskyism right to the point in perfect agitational form. It is definitely a leaflet that I’ll have to distribute and post up around my area.

Also, I just finished Trotskyism or Leninism? by Comrade Harpal last night, as I’ve been fortunate to enjoy some reading time on a much-needed vacation. It is undeniably a great, informative read that every class-conscious worker should wield in the face of Trotskyite phrasemongering, sabotage and deceit. I hope to, in the near future, purchase several more copies so as to give them to my comrade who could spread them around via her leftist bookstore.

On another note, if I may, I should like to express my thoughts to the party on an article published by the CPGB-ML almost a year ago, entitled ‘Communists and the struggle against imperialism’. This article, which I read just recently, pointed out several misconceptions and theoretical mistakes that I had hitherto maintained concerning the struggle against imperialism.

Up until now, I had failed to recognise the importance of supporting such national-revolutionary leaders as Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi against imperialism, who I now see in their progressive, even socialist-leaning (in the case of Gaddafi) light as Marxists should. The article definitely singled out and proved erroneous certain incorrect views using undeniably profound theoretical deductions of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao, as quoted throughout the article.

‘Communists and the struggle against imperialism’ definitely set me straight on a rather embarrassing theoretical mistake, and I will be sure to share it with comrades here in the US and abroad. Its content is genuinely indispensible and the article is yet another piece that all revolutionaries and workers should be armed with in our struggle against imperialism.

The article definitely demonstrated, as have related ones before it, that the CPGB-ML is a thoroughly anti-imperialist Marxist-Leninist party for the toilers and oppressed of Britain. For that I once again give you my greetings and express solidarity with the CPGB-ML.

JA, USA
